Chinese tea · shop 28
Concrete, scaffolding and green vapour around a single lump of tea scaled up to the height of a building, with the frame number set along the bottom.

Beeple's habit is one picture a day, numbered and dated, so this shop is arranged as a running series instead of a season. Each tea gets a scene where the leaf sits on grey concrete at the height of a building, lit magenta and green, and the stencil bar along the bottom carries the name, the number and the date. Fermentation is slow industry, so a plant fits how a pu-erh nugget is actually made better than a wooden tray with linen. Anything technical stays in mono at title-card size, and nothing is added to the frame after that.
